New Repsol Elite Evolution S 5W-30: maximum protection for Stellantis engines

Repsol presents Elite Evolution S 5W-30, a high-performance synthetic lubricant developed for passenger vehicles — gasoline, hybrids, and diesel — with gas aftertreatment systems. Its Mid-SAPS formulation (reduced sulphur, phosphorus, and ash content) makes it particularly suitable for engines equipped with diesel (DPF) or petrol (GPF) particulate filters, helping to maintain their efficiency and prolong their useful life.

This new product has been designed to comply with the demanding norm FPW9.55535/03, which offers reinforced protection against the wear and tear of timing belts on specific Stellantis group engines. Specifically, it is recommended for 1.5 BlueHDI (DV5R) diesel engines manufactured before February 2023 and 1.2L PureTech gasoline engines (EB Turbo Euro 6.1.).

Compared to previous specifications, the norm FPW9.55535/03 brings with it significant improvements in the resistance to wear and tear of the timing belts of these engines, resulting in more reliable operation and optimized maintenance.

In addition to the Stellantis norm, the new Repsol Elite Evolution S 5W-30 oil meets the standards and quality levels that guarantee its performance: ACEA C3, API SP and SA B71 2297, and Stellantis. These certifications mean the lubricant has passed rigorous laboratory and field tests, guaranteeing its compatibility with the most advanced technologies on the market.
