Repsol Lubricants distributors and customers visit rallies in Morocco and Central Europe

Throughout October, Repsol Lubricants has strengthened its relationship with distributors and customers with two experiences around the engine and the brand: a double visit to the W2RC Rallye du Maroc and attendance at the Central European Rally. Once again, the goal is to bring technology closer, share learnings, and continue building trust around excellence and passion for the product. 

Morocco: desert immersion and team bonding

There were two expeditions to Morocco, which combined a sports and cultural agenda and involved distributors from Spain, Egypt, Italy, the Balkans, and Morocco itself (in the latter three cases, also accompanied by customers). Thus, the groups toured the Gara Medouar mountain in a 4x4 and followed the W2RC Rallye du Maroc from strategic points in the Erg Chebbi dunes. There they could see the victory in the drivers' world championship for Lucas Moraes, a Toyota Gazoo Racing driver, sponsored by Repsol.

They also visited the rally camp, sharing impressions with the drivers on the final day. One of the highlights was the visit to the training area of the Repsol Toyota Rally Team, which culminated with a dune codrive with cars driven by Isidre Esteve and Seth Quintero. The experience was completed with the route of the monuments in a 4x4 and different tourist activities.

Central Europe: technology, brand, and WRC

The Central European Rally was attended by a group of 31 people, consisting of customers of the Bardahl joint venture in Mexico and distributors and customers from Portugal, as well as members of the Repsol Lubricants sales and marketing team. This cross-border test was ideal to appreciate the technical demands that inspire the development of competition lubricants. In addition, the Toyota Gazoo Racing team participated, with Alejandro Cachón as a driver and sponsored by Repsol.

The experience was completed with the visit to the Repsol TechLab in Móstoles (Madrid) and to the Repsol Campus, the company's headquarters, where they met with different teams to share learnings and teachings.  

These actions strengthen Repsol Lubricants' relationship with its global network of distributors and customers, combining high-level sports experiences with technical and brand content.
