GT Challenge Costa Rica: an epic victory with the Repsol Lubricants brand on the starting line
On December 7, the most important race of the GT Challenge Central America was held: the 3 Hours of Costa Rica, the race that defines the champion of the season. With a full capacity (5,850 attendees), the atmosphere mixed competition and family, with a large presence of customer workshops and local fans.
The day left an image to remember. Danny Formal, Costa Rican driver and current Lamborghini Cup champion, won after coming back from last position on the grid. His victory, backed by a steady pace and effective strategy, lifted the crowd and marked the decisive moment of the weekend.
Repsol Lubricants participated as the official sponsor of the championship, together with the local distributor Ad Nat. In addition to the support on the track -including the sponsorship of Danny Formal's car-, the brand promoted an activation aimed at the public: VIP area for customers, interactive stands, vehicle exhibitions, and digital presence before and during the race.
Throughout the event, the full range of Repsol Lubricants for automation was presented, connecting the technology developed in the laboratory with what the public experiences in every lap. In addition, the new image of Repsol Lubricants was presented on different supports, such as billboards, tents, and merchandising.
The scope of the GT Challenge Central America - which also included races in Panama, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic this year - reinforces the regional projection of the competition. The presence of key customers helped strengthen relationships and enhance synergies between markets.
With the closing of this event, the championship reaffirms its role as a reference platform for motorsport in the region, combining massive attendance, high-level names, and an organization that cares about the experience of the public both on and off the track.
