Introducing the new Giant 9680 LS-FE-LL 5W-20: efficiency and protection for Euro VI engines
Repsol Lubricants incorporates the new Giant 9680 LS-FE-LL 5W-20 to its range of lubricants for trucks and buses. This is a low-viscosity synthetic oil developed to meet the demands of the latest generation Euro VI engines, such as Scania, Man, or Mercedes.
This launch brings the innovation of the Repsol TechLab to the road with the aim of offering trust in performance and optimized consumption. Thus, its long-lasting and low ash content formulation has been designed to protect engines equipped with advanced aftertreatment systems, maintaining their effectiveness over time.
Being a 5W-20 oil for truck and bus and having specific additives with friction modifiers, the lubricant helps reduce fuel consumption and maintains a stable film that protects at start-up and in continuous operation under demanding conditions. GIANT 9680 LS-FE-LL 5W-20 is recommended for engines optimized for low viscosity, among which the Scania DC13, Man D26, and Mercedes-Benz OM 470/471/473 stand out. In addition, it has the formal approvals Scania LDF-5, Man M3977, and DTFR 15C140 (MB 228.71).
