Revving up: the new identity of Repsol Lubricants at the Valencia GP

Repsol MotoGP

The Valencia GP was the stage chosen to present the new identity of Repsol Lubricants. It was an evening that elevated the pulse from beginning to end, with a staging that transformed the space as the narrative progressed, with the live music of the composer Lucas Vidal and a memorable closing.

The start set the tone. A countdown traced by laser gave way to the overture by Lucas Vidal - winner of an Emmy and two Goya awards - inspired by the sound of the revolutions of an engine. Then, it was the turn of the master of ceremonies, journalist Izaskun Ruíz, who welcomed the attendees.

Then, the director of Repsol Lubricants, Clara Velasco, underlined the dimension of this step: a strategic, coherent, and shared evolution, the result of months of work and active listening. And it is not only an aesthetic change, but the alignment of brand, product, and service with what the market and people are asking for today.

Then came the turn of Cristina González Bermejo, Customer Obsession manager at Repsol, and Cristina Galdón, marketing manager at Repsol Lubricants, who presented the new identity as the tangible manifestation of a more contemporary, digital, and powerful strategy. After the audiovisual presentation, the stage changed to the aesthetics of Repsol Lubricants, consolidating the turning point live.

Competitive excitement took over with Víctor Velázquez (Product Management) and Víctor Gómez (Technical and Development Area), who delved into Repsol's return to competition as the official and exclusive supplier of Moto2 and Moto3 lubricants between 2026 and 2030. The appearance of Álex Barros on a motorcycle on stage connected the memory of the fans with the ambition of the new cycle. A manifesto in the form of a video on the commitment to the development of quality lubricants was then screened.

The closing was led by Repsol's executive managing director of Client and member of the Executive Committee, Valero Marín, who focused the future on the essentials: building quality relationships, maintaining closeness, and growing by doing things better

Back to music, Lucas Vidal premiered a composition created during the event itself, integrating sound textures from the world of motosport. An ending that encapsulated the underlying idea: when technology becomes experience, performance is heard, felt, and experienced. Now outside, a drone show drew the Repsol Lubricants logo and a racing bike in the Valencia sky.

The night left a clear message. Repsol Lubricants redefines performance based on technical evidence and closeness: the track validates, the laboratory perfects, and the user experiences it. A cleaner and more dynamic identity, unequivocally linked to the world of motorsport, which places technical and human experience at the center.
