New lubricant drums, more modern and easy to identify

New Repsol drums

Repsol Lubricants would like to present its new drums, now available worldwide and aligned with the new product labels. The minimalist and modern designs include different colors that will allow customers to easily identify what they need at all times and for each application.

Like the entire range of Repsol products, these new drums are based on the premise of having the best quality and efficiency, while incorporating competitive business elements: dynamism, innovation, speed, quality, and specialized versatility, within a coherent global language.

This update is yet another example of the company's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction and is part of a complete overhaul of the Repsol Lubricants product range that began in 2021 and will continue to evolve in the coming years. The update involved a streamlining of the types of lubricants, a change in packaging, and a new label design for all product ranges. Now it goes one step further with the modernization of its drums.

Previously, the lubricants were marketed in two drums, one for automotive and motorcycle products, and the other for the rest of the products; but now Repsol has decided to diversify. The new presentation includes a turquoise drum for its range of light vehicles, an orange one for motorcycles, and a gray one for industrial, heavy diesel, and all other vehicles. Furthermore, the image of the grease can has also been updated, with a more appealing design.

Repsol Lubricants: an international business that is constantly evolving.

Repsol Lubricants is the group's most international business unit, with a presence in 90 countries. It distributes to America, Europe, Africa, and Asia from its four manufacturing centers in Mexico, Spain, Indonesia, and Singapore.

To respond to this global commitment to quality, Repsol has the best example of the open innovation model at its Tech Lab. It’s based on collaboration and networking with other research teams, both at universities and public and private centers. It’s the largest private research center in Spain and an international benchmark for the sector, with a team of more than 200 scientists and researchers. This guarantees continuous improvement of the entire range of Repsol lubricants and the development of technologically advanced and environmentally friendly products.

The lubricants are tested in an engine laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and highly-trained experts, dedicated exclusively to Repsol. The products that support elite champions are developed there, with the best test bed, the MOTO GP championships, with more than 25 years of sponsorship by the Repsol Honda Team.
