Fire-resistant hydraulic fluid formulated from ester bases which can be classified as an HFDU fluid under the ISO 6743/4 standard. It is a fluid intended mainly for replacing mineral hydraulic oils in systems with high fire risk. This fluid is synthetic and completely water-free, and complies with the tests stipulated in the 7th Luxembourg Protocol. It is intended mainly for hydraulic systems exposed to fire risk, such as some applications of the metallurgy industry.

    The base oils used to manufacture this group of products have been carefully refined to obtain a high viscosity index and excellent resistance to oxidation. Its constituent additives, as well as enhancing these natural characteristics, provide this lubricant with exceptional anti-wear properties and temperature performance. These oils are specially designed for hydraulic circuits subjected to sudden temperature changes in which oils are also required to have greater anti-wear properties. They are specifically suited to hydraulic circuits exposed to the elements or with low working temperatures, as well as equipment requiring viscosity variations that are significantly lower than in standard fluids, and hydraulic systems used at sea (watertight doors, capstans and windlasses, stabilisers, etc.). Excellent performance in hydraulic systems for all kinds of public works machinery. This lubricant has been developed in two different viscosities: SAE10W and 30, in accordance with the SAE J300 standard, which are the main viscosities required for this application. The SAE 30 viscosity lubricant is developed with mineral base oils, while the SAE 10W viscosity is formulated using synthetic and mineral base oils. Even though its viscosity is regulated by the SAE J300 standard, this product cannot be used as an engine lubricant as its cutting-edge additives are specifically designed for use in hydraulic applications. Oils manufactured with top quality bases from paraffinic crude oils subject to solvent refining and hydrofinishing processes which give it high stability against rust and a high viscosity index. The additives used in the formula are of the ashless type. Its use, being a hydraulic oil with anti-wear additives and enhanced with specific dispersant additives, is recommended for systems working in a very harsh environment where it is difficult to drain off the water contained in the lubricant circuit.
