Description

Synthetic fluid approved by EATON as PS-386, to use in Eaton-Fuller transmissions for severe service and long oil drain intervals in heavy-duty vehicles. This new specification PS-386 replaces Eaton PS-164 Rev. 7 specification, and is backwards compatible with it. Advantage over the older specification is that this new lubricant performs better in fuel economy tests. Contribute up to 1.5% fuel economy, improving gearbox efficiency compared with conventional lubricants.

It is recommended for gearboxes where a non-EP lubricant is required. Approved applications include Manual, Automated and Hybrid (EH series) Eaton Fuller Transmissions, up to 18-speed (FO, FM, FS, RT, FR series, Fuller Advantage, Ultrashift PLUS, Freightliner M2, Cascadia, New Cascadia, Coronado, Kenworth (T, W and off highway series), Thomas Built Buses, etc.
