TrialGP World Championship: Repsol Honda prepares to build on an unbeatable year
This year, the TrialGP World Championship will kick off in Japan. After the delay of the date in France, the Motegi circuit will open the outdoor season with a double race on May 18, 19, and 20. Moreover, this occasion celebrates the 50th anniversary of this competition.
The Repsol Honda team comes into the event especially reinforced, after a great start to the season in X-Trial, the indoor championship, where the results have been unbeatable. In the ranking, our two riders, Toni Bou (86 points) and Gabri Marcelli (55 points), lead the table.
For his part, Bou has strung together four consecutive wins, while Marcelli has been on the podium in every race so far. "We begin the outdoor World Championship in the home race for Honda and we have to give 100% The team is doing a great job and we have to continue along the same line," Bou said, who already has 34 world championships among his honors.
This edition of the Trial World Championship will have seven rounds in seven different countries. Between April and September, the competition will pass through Andorra, Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, and will finish in Spain. Afterwards, Andorra will resume the indoor season on the weekend of October 5.
Lubricants for the sport elite
The Repsol Honda team always has the support of Repsol Lubricants' exclusive products, designed specifically for competition. It is an essential aspect to achieve maximum performance and optimize the functioning of the clutch, which is one of the keys for success in a sport such as trial.
We achieve this thanks to our extensive experience in motor racing competitions. For this purpose, our Technical Assistance and Development team works closely with TechLab to develop products to continue improving on a daily basis.
Thanks to this effort, we have been able to create the Racing range, a line of lubricants for competition with premium additives, which ensures greater oil stability and prevents oxidation and residue accumulation. Among its main advantages are increased power, optimum performance, and prolonged useful life for all moving parts.
For Repsol Lubricants, it is an honor to contribute to the success of a team that is already living motorcycling history. We hope the streak continues in the outdoor season!
